Based in Essex, Hannah’s Bakeries are a premiere-based chain of bakeries producing the springy and crusty bread loaves our loyal and local customers have come to adore. Freshness is baked into everything we do here at Hannah’s, ensuring the highest quality of delightful sweet treats, fluffy rolls and bread, gourmet, flavorsome gelato, and delectable waffles and crepes.

If you have these skills or attributes, we know you’ll be a perfect fit for the role:

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to maintain a positive outlook in the work environment especially during fast-paced hours.

• Have experience as a Barista or have previously worked in a Cafe (if not this shouldn’t stop you from applying as we train all of our staff in the necessary duties)

• Upselling product in a friendly manner and promoting our social media pages

• Adhering to a regular cleaning schedule on top of normal bakery jobs

• Applying SFBB guidance in food preparation areas

• Availability on weekends and during holidays

Ultimately, you will assist in boosting customer engagement and help keep our bakery a favourite local spot.

Responsibilities

• Customer service on a day-to-day operations of the bakery

• Maintain Health & Safety within workplace

• Ensure all bakery areas are clean and tidy

• Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation

• Maintain positive co-worker relationships

Requirements

• Work experience as a Barista, previously worked in a Cafe or another Bakery environment (would be helpful in assessing your prior knowledge of this type of work environment)

• Hands-on with food preparation and coffee machines

• Availability to work within opening hours (including weekends and holidays)

• Excellent communication skills with a friendly approach

• Positive Customer service attitude
