Hannah’s Bakeries is Essex’s premiere bakery with 5 shops and a large production centre. We also supply to leading chain of cafe’s, local restaurants and businesses with our award winning breads, pastries and cakes.

Freshness is baked into everything we do. At every bakery, we bake bread, cakes and treats all day, every day.

We are looking for Bakers who are as passionate about bread as we are. Candidates need to be able to produce hand crafted bread, cakes and pastries to our high standards using traditional baking techniques. This means you need to have excellent knowledge of dough and proofing.


The role will include shaping, mixing, and oven works across our full range of sourdoughs, baguettes, flavoured loaves, pastries, and cakes.

We are looking for candidates who:

· Have some experience making bread, pastries and cakes

· Are enthusiastic, reliable and great team players

· Can read, write and speak English

· Are able to work to tight deadlines

· Readiness to work with team spirit, commitment and resilience in a fast-paced restaurant.

· Can carry out physical work

Working Hours:

Mon-Sun, any 5 days out of 7, 40 – 45 hours per week on a rolling rota

Shift patterns are 3am – 1pm/8pm – 5am

Salary: The role is paying between £9.50- £11.00 per hour depending on skills and knowledge
